The National Union of Public and Private Educators of Zambia (NUPPEZ) was established as a registered trade union to serve teachers and education support staff in both government-owned and privately operated schools across all ten provinces of Zambia.
As one of the youngest teacher trade unions in the country, NUPPEZ quickly distinguished itself through rapid membership growth, fuelled by a commitment to transparency and genuine member representation. From its earliest days, the union built its reputation on the belief that educators deserve a union that works as hard as they do.
NUPPEZ is registered under the Industrial and Labour Relations Act (Chapter 269 of the Laws of Zambia) and operates in full compliance with the legal framework governing trade unions in the country
