Our vision, our mission, our values
Registered under the Industrial and Labour Relations Act, Cap. 269 of the Laws of Zambia.
To advocate for the welfare, professional development, and rights of public and private educators in Zambia through transparent representation, collective bargaining, and constructive engagement with government and all education stakeholders.
Our pillars
What we stand for
We negotiate salaries, housing allowances and working conditions through collective bargaining and social dialogue with government.
We argue for education policy built on evidence: standards that hold, classrooms that are not overcrowded, and a decent learning environment for every pupil.
Members hear what we asked for, what we were offered and what we settled on. We answer to the people who entrust us with their representation.

Fill in the membership form on this site, or call at your nearest NUPPEZ provincial office.

Send your documents
A copy of your Teaching Council of Zambia practising licence and your appointment letter.

Set up your subscription
Complete the payroll deduction form, or set up a standing order with your bank.

Collect your card
Your membership card and welcome pack are issued at your provincial office.
Private school teachers have long sat outside the structures that protect their government school colleagues. We represent both.
Members see what we asked for, what we were offered and what we settled on. Win or lose, we say so.
Branch structures carry the work into districts and individual schools, not just the national office.
We operate under the Industrial and Labour Relations Act, Cap. 269, and inside the framework it sets.
